At “Prestalo”, our mission is to help people improve their private finances by offering an online platform for contracting and managing loans. Through our platform, clients with just one request can choose the best loan on the market and hire it 100% online.
At Prestalo we are preparing for launching our service in the French market. We are looking for a passionate Business Developer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for planning, leading and implementing the launch. It's a multifaceted role which will give you an insight and overview of how our product works and the freedom of running a small startup within a bigger one.
- Manage the relationship with the Product Manager to prepare the platform for launch- assist in managing translations, mapping of data and coming with suggestions on improvements that fit the market.
- Develop the relationship with partnership banks (existing and new ones)
- Communicate with partnership banks sending weekly reports on statistics, leads etc
- Be part of creating marketing material and content for the website
- Use content management systems to maintain and update websites and design
- Develop the communication strategies and content for users (automated emails and notifications to customers)
- Develop new relationships with potential partners for acquiring leads like marketplaces or other fintechs
- Manage administrative tasks related to the market (forecasting of costs, relationship with local vendors and invoicing)
- Be the first customer support and sales person on the ground. Build the base of communication and procedures that will be taken over when we create the local support and sales team
- Give ideas for improvements in product and on the future strategy for the market.
- Native French and fluent Spanish or English
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related – graduate studies are a plus (e.g.: MBA)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills and interest in technology, confident handling excel, powerpoint etc
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience (sales or business development experience in digital businesses.)
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced start-up environment.
- Excellent at multitasking and close attention to detail.
- Experience from working in tech startup (marketplace, SaaS or similar), preferably in a business development role or Management consulting experience
- Sales experience from B2B or B2C
- Knowledge of online business models and metrics
