Prestalo is actively searching for a fullstack developer with flexibility to do backend and frontend, passionate and proactive looking for the next step in his/her career and wants to join an exciting fintech startup in an early phase.

The majority of our tech stack is made with Javascript (NodeJS and Nest in the backend and ReactJS and NextJS in the frontend), although we are always in search of new opportunities and we pick the best language for each scenario.

At Prestalo our mission is to help people to better and cheaper private finances by letting banks compete in a bidding on customers and their loans. Through our online platform, borrowers are offered the best interest rates from several banks via only one application.

What will you do?

First of all you enjoy a great and geek team, We are flexible. You could keep updated about our technologies. 

• You will have a proactive role and collaborate to improve our applications in the Spanish and French markets.
• Have responsibility over our API, backend systems, integrations and frontend systems.
• Work with the main banks and lenders of the Spanish and french markets to connect our service to their APIs.
• Adapt and develop our platform following the business needs.
• Integrate third party solutions related to the Spanish and French markets.
• Actively participate in taking initiatives to modularize and modernise the existing code base. 

Who are you?

• You have computer engineering studies or equivalent.
• You have a wide experience in programming (more than 3 years with Javascript).
• It is valuable if you worked at a startup in the past and you are ready to take the next step in your career.
• You are skillful with web based technologies and you keep updated with the new frameworks features.
• You learn fast, are not afraid of challenges and you work hard to reach commercial objectives.
• You are a motivated and practical developer with no fear to think differently to achieve the goals.
• Experience with the following would be nice: NodeJS and Nest, frontend frameworks (we use ReactJS and NextJS), API integrations, NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• You have excellent communication skills both in written and spoken format. Communication will be in spanish and english. Both languages are mandatory.
• Experience working with cloud providers, including server environment configuration, databases and kubernetes, would be great.
• AI knowledge and data science would be great.
